Visualising the future of energy logistics

Rood Design collaborated with Øyedrops and Nick Hegreberg to develop the brand film for Wellit, a logistics software company serving the global energy industry, used as an introductory film when pitching their platform to potential clients.

The brief called for something that could make complex, invisible software tangible and compelling in the room. Logistics infrastructure at industrial scale is not inherently cinematic, and the challenge was to find a visual language that communicated both the intelligence behind the platform and the scale of the operations it manages.

The project brought together three distinct disciplines. Nick Hegreberg developed the script, defining the narrative arc and the voice that would carry Wellit's proposition. Øyedrops took ownership of the visual style and all motion, translating the creative foundation into the final film. Rood Design oversaw the visual moodboards and aesthetic direction, establishing the world the film would inhabit.

The aesthetic direction pointed toward a deep blue, luminous digital space where data flows like energy, and physical assets, helicopters, shipping containers, oil field equipment, appear as glowing wire-frame constructions. The visual language frames Wellit not as a back-office tool but as the connective intelligence running through an entire industry.

The result is a brand film that makes Wellit's proposition immediate and memorable, built from the combined strengths of three collaborators working in close alignment.
